Over the past ten years, teachers and coaches from the United States, Britain, Hong Kong, Norway and South Africa have come all the way to Taiwan to volunteer for our camp! Yes volunteer! Christians from around the world have paid their own way to invest a week in the lives of young Taiwan students. The majority of our foreign teachers can speak NO Chinese, which means campers will be hearing LOTS of English all week long. This is the best possible environment to be in if you want you English to improve quickly.
Part of our staff are foreign missionaries who have lived in Taiwan for many years and are now bi-lingual. Becuase they have spent lots of time They are familiar with the local culture and have a huge heart for the Taiwan people.
Local Taiwanese Christians from around the island are the third key part to our staff. Living a week away from home, surrounded by foreigners speaking English can be a challenging experience for many of our campers. Most of our Taiwanese staff are bi-lingual as well, and share the common cultural background with our campers. We rely on them greatly to help communicate important information and help out in situations that need local knowledge and fluent language abilities.
